Open Clinics for Baseball and Softball
Baseball
Baseball will have clinics on Monday nights from 6-7:30PM for Cal Ripken ages from 8 to 12 years old as of 4/30/2010. There will also be a session from 7:30 to 9PM for Babe Ruth ages 13 through High School Seniors as of 4/30/2010. These Clinics start Monday 1/25/2010 through Monday 3/1/2010. No clinic Presidents weekend. We need Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth or Rutgers SAFETY certified coaches who have also completed a back ground check with the township to help with the sessions. Please contact Don Fowler at dfcoach@gmail.com if you have an interest in helping and meet the qualifications listed above. All participants must be registered with HVBSA or attend the High School. A parent must stay with the participant while they are at the Clinic. The clinic is meant to give the participants basic instruction and a chance to take some swings and throws as a warm up for the season. A participant may come at any time during the assigned time frame.Softball
Softball sessions will take place every Thursday starting 1/21/2010 through 3/4/2010 at the Old Gym at the High School. Ages 12 and under attend from 6-7:30PM and ages 13 through High School attend from 7:30PM to 9PM. Volunteers will be needed. Please let the coordinators know if you are able to help out. You may contact the coordinators this Thursday night at the gym. All participants should be registered with HVBSA or High School students. Parents need to be present during the clinic.All Participants
Please make sure your child has proper equipment with their name written clearly on all bats and gloves. Participants should wear sneakers and appropriate protective gear. We will provide batting helmets. Only safety balls provided by the league are allowed for use in the gym. Do not bring hard balls or regulation soft balls.![]() |

Bad Girls XVI - June 26-27, 201016 years of Bad Girls Softball and counting. We thank everyone for participating in last year's tournament and we are looking forward to another great softball season.
The Bad Girls Tournament will again take on a friendly but competitive atmosphere, with special local tournament rules allowing you to get more of your players into the game. We are inviting Class B type teams and will have a minimum of 16 teams for each age division. Teams must be ASA registered with their respective states. We will be using basic 2010 ASA playing rules and Player eligibility.
