HVBSA Baseball / Division Sr Babe Ruth

The Senior Babe Ruth program is designed for those ball players (ages 16-18) who wish to continue playing competitive baseball after Babe Ruth. Unlike all our younger divisions where all games are played during the school year and "in-house" between other HV rec teams, the SBR league plays other towns in the Mercer County area with play beginning in early June and concluding with league playoffs in early August. The number of teams that will represent HV is dependent upon enrollment. If enrollment can support more than one team, every effort will be made to field multiple HV teams. However, if enrollment is insufficient to support an additional team, then tryouts will be held. Highly skilled 15 year olds can enroll but will be eligible to play with SBR coordinator approval. All league teams typically play 2 games a week, one on Sunday and one on a weeknight, all usually at 7pm. Due to field available and/or weather, at times 3 games per week will be played. Our home field is Bacon Field at the Municipal Complex on Scotch Road. Additional information is available by contacting the SBR coordinator.
