The Majors Division is our top-level program. It is designed for our higher skilled players and as a result is competitive in nature. Games are played according to the Babe Ruth rules of baseball with only slight modifications to accommodate the 50/70 formatted field. The 50' length pitcher's mound and 70' base paths are used exclusively by our Majors division. Teams typically play two games per week on Chamberlain Field at the Municipal Athletic Complex on Scotch Road; one during the week and one on Saturday. Additionally, team managers may schedule practices during the week. Typically, the season lasts 12-16 games and the ages at this level are generally 11 and 12, with some very skilled 10 year olds selected for participation by the managers. The season concludes with a double elimination playoff format to crown the Majors division champion.
Note: Age exceptions in this division can be made either at the parent's request or by the player's manager if they determine that the player's skill level is more appropriate for a lower division level.
