The AA Division is our second level program. It is designed for those players who have developed their basic skills in baseball and are ready to experience pitching and being pitched to by their fellow players. While there is still a solid emphasis on basic skill building and having fun, the games are a bit more like the real thing. Teams typically play two games per week at the Municipal Athletic Complex on Scotch Road, one during the week and one on Saturday. Games may occasionally be scheduled on the Merrill Lynch fields. Additionally, team managers may schedule practices during the week. Typically, the season lasts 12-16 games and the ages at this level generally are between 8 and 10.
Note: Age exceptions in each division can be made either at the parent's request or by the player's manager if he/she determines that the player's skill level is more appropriate for a lower division level.
