Play all games by ASA rules with the following
modifications
- 7 innings are to be played if time allows.
There are NO mercy rules.
- No inning may start after 1:45 from official
game time (i.e.. 7:30 game start, then no inning
can begin after 9:15).
- If game is tied after 7 innings AND time has
not expired, then the International Tiebreaker
Procedure will be used until the tie is broken
or time expires. The person who made the last
out in the preceding inning will start at second
base. The regular batting order will be resumed
and the team will have 3 outs. Then the home
team will have the same opportunity, etc.
- Pitchers are allowed to pitch any 4 innings
per game. If extra innings are played, a pitcher
may then pitch 5 total innings.
- Only 9 players play in the field.
- Every player will bat. Add latecomers to the
bottom of the lineup.
- Free substitution at any time.
- Courtesy runner can be used to speed game
along: If the pitcher or catcher are on base,
they may be taken off at anytime to suit up/warm
up and be replaced as a runner with the girl
that made the last batted out.
- You may start a game with 8 players and finish
with 7.
- Players cannot sit the bench more than 2 innings
per game unless due to illness or injury. Every
player must play the infield at least 1 inning
and in the outfield one inning.
- Limit of 5 runs per inning except the 7th
inning or later innings where 10 runs can be
scored as long as time has not expired.
- Two hit batters in one inning or three hit
batters in one game disqualifies that pitcher
from pitching the remainder of the game.
- Teams may call "substitute players"
either from the Major Division or another Senior
team when they have less than 9 players confirmed
from their own roster. Substitute players can
play any position. If a Major Division player
is playing "up" a signed parental
permission slip is required.
