Cal Ripken Divisions
  • Majors – 7th graders age 12 on April 30th, 6th graders and 5th graders as needed.
  • AAA – 5th graders and 4th graders as needed.
  • AA – 4th Graders and 3rd graders as needed.
  • A – Combination kid/machine pitch for 3rd graders and 2nd graders as needed.
  • Rookie – Machine pitch games for 2nd graders and 1st graders as needed.
  • Instructional – Instructional machine pitch games for 1st graders and Kindergarteners age 6 on April 30th.
Your child's baseball age is their actual age on April 30th each year.

Note: We anticipate some children from each grade will be pulled up to fill out teams in an older division.  This decision to move a player up will rest collectively with the division coordinator, the division managers and the player agent.  No one person can make this determination. The final decision on each child would be based on the players grade and skill to play at the next level.
